Definition and Usage
The Pythagoras’ Theorem states that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides in a right-angled triangle. The hypotenuse is the side opposide the right angle and is also the longest side of a triangle. Given the length of two sides of a right-angled triangle, we can use the Pythagoras’ theorem to find the third side.
